I am still unpacking in my new house. I feel that I might be unpacking for weeks.
I haven’t been home much, since I moved in. That has an impact, obv.
And I have been spending mentally stupidly long hours at work. That has an impact too.
And whenever the sun is shining, I want to be out on one of the bikes (read: Daytona), rather than stuck inside unpacking.
I guess that bit is a bit predictable, really, innit?
On Saturday I legged it up to Nottingham for Monkey Meet v2.
There were about 60-70 of us on two wheels.
We rode south, down in to Leicestershire (where we stopped at Melton Mowbray for mugs of tea and iced-lollies), and then headed over to Rutland Water where more tea and ice-lollies and cake were very comfortably taken.
We raised a substantial amount of money that went to a very good cause.
And we got to ride our bikes in hot, sunny weather.
And we met people we ‘know’ online.
And generally just had a good gossip.
There are many Monkey Meet 2 videos on YouTube already.
And someone took this photo of me, when I wasn’t looking.
What did you get up to this weekend?

What did I get up to? Being on call and parking my arse at home most of the time. 🙁
However, I did take the time to listen through the London Grammar album from start to finish on the lounge AV system. Really enjoying it over and over again.
Well, a bit of ham radio; a bit of the hated gardening; a bit of cycling and t’other night a bit of motorcycling where we ended up at a vintage bike meet over at Woburn, where we drank beer and marveled at old, renovated Vincents worth around 30k.
t’was nice.
