I seem to have bought a uke.
This is obviously a musical land-grab.
I’m going to extend my awesomely poor rhythm and acoustic guitar-playing in to new territories.
Living away from home during the week has a significant number of drawbacks.
One – just one! – being that I am removed from my guitars.
Oh, I know I don’t get the urge to pick up a guitar every single day, but I do get the feeling that I want to, a couple of times a week.
How am I going to do this?
It came to me the other night.
Get a ukelele!
Yes, alright, I’ll confess that this thought came to me after watching this:
What could be better – and more portable – than a ukelele?
Yes, I know it’s not a guitar.
But so what?
I’ll conquer the world with my mediocre musicianship.
Just see if I don’t.
Yep, won’t take you long to master that, what with so much free time on your hands.
I’ve got the first three chords off. And tuning. I’m looking forward to murdering some music 🙂
