It is 04.30.
Yeah.
In the morning.
Obv.
I’m half watching an episode of The Walking Dead that I fell asleep during, last night.
I’ve had breakfast.
And a cup of tea.
In less than an hour I need to start the 130-mile, Monday morning commute.
Get on to the M6.
Then M42.
Then M5.
M4.
M32.
And then do a full day of work.
Leave work.
Stop at Lidl, in Southmead.
Buy a few things for the week.
Bread. Milk. Cereal. Fruit. Eggs.
Drive to the flat in Westbury-on-Trym.
Unpack.
Fix something to eat.
Shower.
Relax on the bed.
Doze a bit.
Probably watch something I don’t have to think too much about.
Speak to my daughter.
Speak to my girlfriend.
Run all my geeky checks on various bits of infrastructure.
Get in to bed.
Sleep.
And tomorrow I get a nice long lie-in until 6am.
What will I do with those extra two hours?
