We are hooked, the mighty Soph and, erm, me.
We need treatment for Tetris; we have discovered a website where addicts can play Tetris and, at the risk of repeating oneself… we are hooked.
Honestly, it’s worse than smoking. Says a former smoker.
Ten minutes? It’s only been ten minutes since I was there last? But I’m up to Level Five!
I need to go there again. I have to beat my top score on Level Five! I need to!
I’ll only be a minute; just play one game.
Alright, two games. Maybe more.
I might be there for half an hour.
Or longer.
But it’s my high score on Level Five!
And this, my friends, is just an insight to my thoughts. I hate to think what might be in the Lovely Soph’s head!
p.s. I had an email read out on Scott Mills this evening! 🙂
Stop while you still can! It’s defintitely worse than smoking. I think I really was addicted to it for a while. I wrote a post about it once. And that bloody music!
Also, did you read about that research that was published the other day? Some academic dude found that playing Tetris after witnessing traumatic event can help prevent PTSD (something about memories pathways not being able to be laid down properly due to the brain being completely pre-occupied with playing and thinking about Tetris). I think they may be on to something!
N.B. expect a rise in the number of hits on your blog. Tetris is the most popular search term on my old blog.
“I had an email read out on Scott Mills this evening!”
Sorry, was the email written on Scott Mills, or was someone merely standing on him whilst reading it?
I was hooked on that about 27 years ago. Bought a cheap handheld game of it…when I first played it, I was in bed at 10pm….I finally put it down at 6am!!!!
Hang on where’s the link to the site?
Sally, I’m hooked! I can’t help it. I’m an addict. 🙂
Allister, the crew held him down, stood on him and read it out. And discussed the contents of it. I’ll try and clip it.
Trixie, I spent the whole journey home yesterday playing it! Aaargh.
chaotic, I could tell you, but then…
i havent even looked at it yet! mostly because i know ill never stop playing it and as understanding as my boss is i am still expected to go to work sometimes! but it was very crafty of you to try and make more people play to justify to youself like, everyone else is doing it…
