Blogathon 02/16: Well this is nice

This is not the post I intended to write.

It’s the very early hours of Tuesday and I shall shortly have a small but troublesome part of me removed.

Apparently the walls of my gallbladder are 13 times the normal thickness.

And it’s also half full of gallstones.

So we’re parting company in just over an hour.

I’m having a general anaesthetic, so can’t video it for posterity.

Not sure the battery in this phone will last much longer either.

Like my gallbladder.

  1. I hope you will soon be back with us, minus the stones! Just come to see you from Masher. I have been reading him for ages now…..and am looking forward to a post every day ( from you both) Where are you in hospital? ( I assume it is not a back street butcher doing the job!!) Wishing you a swift recovery.

    1. Thank you for stopping by Frances. I’m back home now. I was in hospital in QMC in Nottingham. The staff (and facilities) were excellent. Thank you again.

    1. I did ask about the homeless ‘stones (not the Rolling Stones). Apparently they can pop up anywhere. That’s not at all worrying, is it?

    1. Mine was too full to explode. Apparently. But they wouldn’t let me keep it in a jar. Shame. Hope the French Life is treating you well.
