It’s that time of the year again. Despite a serious lack of mileage over the last 12 months, the Ninja needs to get serviced.
After last year’s cockup where we went to Leicester Kawasaki only to find they’d gone out of business and our appointment for servicing was with Drayton Croft motorcycles over in Hinkley… well, this year I tried Chris Walker Kawasaki in Grantham (much closer than Hinkley).

The unfortunate news is that the mechanic found that the Ninja had a tricky front brake switch which would be enough for an MOT (yes, she’s that old now) failure. So she’s going back next month to get that sorted.
I hope to put a few more miles on her this year than I did in the last one.
Hopefully, some decent riding weather is on it’s way.
I’ve been out a couple of times already, but the bike is currently partially in bits in the garage, as it broke down on me at a bikers cafĂ©, two weeks ago. It’s quite embarrassing to have to be pushed for a bump start, in front of a hundred other bikers!
