Day 1 of the holiday

In a massive swerve from the (our) traditional unfocussed bumbling about the place, today we have been busy.

We cleared out the spare bedroom, dismantled the bed, removed the many boxes of things from the walk-in cupboard and from where they had been hiding beneath the bed, emptied the contents, sorted things in to piles, and installed an office desk.

Then I went up to the yard and rode Vin while Soph did two years’ of statement-filing.

Back home I set up the equipment and Soph and I recorded This Reality Podcast episode 59 (which sounds like two kids giggling and a load of good music).

And now we’re sitting here watching The Shawshank Redemption whilst having occasional kisses and cuddles on the couch.

It’s been a good one; productive, but busy.

  1. I like filing, I do:)

The kissing and cuddling bit is also good, indeed, better even, than filing.

But perhaps next time we watch the Shawshank Redemption (for there shall surely be a next time), you should gag me, so that I don’t keep telling you what an amazing film it is and going on about the ‘fabulous denouement’ before it has happened…

    Tsk.
