Children should be kept out of harm’s way

Another in the series of posts held over from The Great Internetage Outage…

One Sunday a few weekends ago, I attended an equestrian-type course.

The first part of the day was given over to theoretical situations, whilst for the afternoon session the course attendees froze their collective arses off up on the Cotswolds.

The morning session was held in a village hall, which obviously serves as a venue for some kind of a playgroup during the week.

At least that’s my guess, because I can’t think of any other reason for this sign:

Don’t do this at home, kids!

  1. Now that’s just miserable on the part of the playgroup people – cupboards were great fun when you were small, they were places to hide and full of stuff that you weren’t meant to play with and so wanted. Excellent fun.
