101 Things to do with a pair of needle-nose pliers

I got these little beauties out for a spot of repairing DIY in the bathroom.

Shaving mirror – needed the grommity things tightening on the sides so it could swivel safely once more.

Job now done.

But, you know, I’m reluctant to put them away.

Because…

I might need them again.

In a hurry.

So while I’m waiting for this unforeseen plier emergency of needle-nose proportions I need something else to do with them.

Umm….

Looks around the lounge expectantly.

I could stick the end up my nose and ferret about to see what I could extract.

A bit like Arnie did in Total Recall.

You know, when he shoved a tool up his nose and found a tracking device.

Not that sort of tool!

Bloody hell – your mind!

Anyway I could do that.

That’s thing #1.

Any suggestions what else I could do with them?

  1. Use them to extract the top off the Bic pen that’s stuck down the cast on your broken arm. The Bic pen you shoved down your cast to scratch the annoying itch underneath the cast on your broken arm. The Bic pen you shoved down cap first without thinking that the top might come off whilst it was ferreting away between the cast and you arm.

This suggested use brought to you by an ex girl friend of mine who was grateful that I knew what I could do with my tools 🙂

  2. And that’s what’s wrong with girls. There’s never one around with a broken arm and a Bic pen trapped within her plaster cast when you need one. But that’s a top tip, thanks!
