Friday night (25th May 2012) was a busy calendar night.
If only my super-power was ‘being everywhere’ I could have gone to the Jonquil gig at the Oxford 02 Arena.
And I could have gone to the RB50 gig/party in Bristol.
And could have dropped in to spend quality time at the Video! gig in Coventry.
Could have stopped by the unannounced Attack! Attack! gig in Cardiff.
Instead, though, I went to see an AmDram production by a capable village-based company.
The evening had comedy, tragedy (both intentional), live music and audience participation.
The Jonquil gig would have been a close second, behind the AmDram, but I had a personal interest in being in the audience, which is why it won.
Still.
Jonquil?
Not as lovely as the band who supported the AmDram production, obv.
But pretty lovely. Top quality indieband goodness.
