Joy of joys, Danny Baker is back on Radio 2 as a (probably temporary) replacement for Jonathan Ross.
Funny, intelligent, flowing conversation about a diverse range of topics and never about himself. Long overdue!

I often listen to him online in the afternoon when he does his BBC London afternoon show.
He is a very skilled and talented broadcaster in my opinion. His radio shows are always top notch.
Likewise, I often manage to catch most of his BBC London show on the journey home. A joy to listen to: always witty and entertaining and he does it so effortlessly.
Pound for pound (and he’s put on a few, in recent years) the best broadcaster out there, for my money.
Best regards

Perp and Masher, I’ve been a fan of D. Baker for many years. I’ve never quite understood why the rest of the population doesn’t feel the same way. But I don’t listen to BBC London – though a colleague describes Danny’s show as part of the compensation package for living in London. 🙂
I agree – I think he’s fab!
