I’ve been a fan of Brighton-based rockers Anemo for a few years. I’ve featured their work on the show several times.
I got emailed a pre-release copy of their album Stentorian, last year.
Stentorian contains the single Music Box, which (surprisingly – because this band doesn’t have a mainstream record label, doesn’t have the big PR machine behind them) charted in the UK top 15.
But, because there’s a lot going on, I’ve never sat down and listened to the whole album, start to finish.
Until this evening.
The album is typical Anemo good quality music (Stentorian is their third studio album), but tucked away in a quiet little corner is the track Anyway.
Now this is how to do a power ballad.
And also, what a stunning voice she has.
