A couple of minutes ago I passed a sign at the side of the road (A40, Shepherd’s Bush) that was advertising ‘Hand Job while You Wait*‘ (their capitalisation).
Well yes, quite.
But the idea of having a hand job while one is away doing something else must be the epitome of multi-tasking, no?
* Yes of course I know it meant ‘hand car wash’, but I’m only reporting what the signage said. At least that’s what I believe it said.
B.
Blimey, they’re a bit liberal where you live aren’t they? Hand job while you wait eh? Interesting marketing tactic but it might just work.
That is hilarious!
Excellent advertising. A sign like that gets attention. You really have to … um, hand it to them.
In Manchester there’s a car wash that proclaims to give ‘The Best Hand Job In The North West’.
A bold claim I feel…
Vicola, oooh, they’ve missed a trick! Liberal Handjobs (for the centrist), Conservative Handjobs (outsourced to Eastern Europe) and New Labour Handjobs (outsourced to Eastern Europe and you get screwed in to the bargain and there’s definitely no extras).
Sally, if I could I would take a photo.
Merry, It pays to advertise? 🙂
Helen, you see, the ASA would have to visit all other givers of hand jobs to validate that claim… lol
