The postman has been!

Woot! Such excitement.

I put down my Porkless Pork Pie and Branston pickle and welcome the weary traveller.

He declines my offer of a warm drink. Instead he asks me to sign for a package and gives me a bunch of stuff, and then he’s gone.

The package is a present for Vin, the bunch of stuff is mostly Christmas cards; I shall leave them for Soph.

I take the BT bill, British Eventing Magazine and the January to April competition schedule for Allens Hill to the couch for a good read.

I’m so excited!

I never knew that having the postman deliver stuff could be so thrilling!

  1. Hello LizSara! Hello Masher! Won’t you both come in and make yourselves comfortable? Can I get you something to drink? Tea? Coffee? Hot Chocolate? Something a little stronger? Glass of water? Anything? Anything at all? A book? Magazine? Foot rub? Anything???

How on earth do peeps endure less busy days as this, five or even seven days a week?

  2. Harry, I don’t know what it is about them. Maybe it isn’t them. Perhaps it’s just the Branston? 🙂
