I have just had a text from Soph which seems to imply, in a good-natured kind of way, that the collective noun for a group of Leporidae actually isn’t ‘a pride of rabbits’.
Well that just goes to prove how educational the spoken word is, because I heard it on a podcast, so it must be true.

I believe the correct term is an ‘orgy’ of rabbits. In any case it seems to be one of those animals with multiple accepted collective nouns, so it won’t hurt to add another one or two.
Geez Bren…stop filling up my bloglines with all these posts! It’s hard enough to keep up the the 100+ on it! 😉
I gotta know though…how can you have a porkless pork pie? (how anyone can eat a real pork pie I don’t know either)
