I settled down to watch the MotoGP on BBC 1. I switched it off before the race had even begun.
Not because of the BBCs coverage. I’m sure that would have been adequate, if I had I been able to put up with this:
I *have* to pay a TV licence fee for this?
Really?
And yes, it’s the same on every digital TV channel.
Freeview?
Yeah, it’ll do that if there’s not enough signal.
Or if there’s too much signal.
Or if there’s lots of metal buildings around (COFDM is shit when it comes to reflections).
Or if there’s a lift on.
Or it’s a Sunday afternoon.
If I watched a lot of TV, I’d have bought that Freesat box by now. But I’m quite happily working my way through Breaking Bad (s1, disc 2) and The West Wing (s2, disc 5) on DVD right now. I’ll get around to the Freesat thing, sooner or later.
Or are you going to tell me that if there’s an R in the month, that won’t work too well either?
🙂
