To begin properly, there’s no significant difference in my life between Lockdown 1.0, Lockdown 2.0 (the sequel), Tier 3 (v1.0), or any of the days, weeks, or even months inbetween.
However, like a significant number of other people, I started remembering vivid dreams, about a fortnight into Lockdown 1.0.
Here we are, two weeks into Lockdown 2.0 (the sequel) and vivid dreams have returned.
I’m not quick (or alert) enough to document the details, and the dream memories vanish quicker than a politician’s promises, but I’m aware that the night before last’s dream included my younger brother in a starring role (just can’t remember anything about the role – or anything else).
Last night’s dream featured Maesycwmmer which, in itself, is odd as my past association with the town has largely been passing through it (fairly regularly, and in my younger days, but still only passing through it) on the way to/from Bargoed.
I can’t help wondering why some of us are reporting vivid dreams in Lockdowns especially when, in many cases, our lives are no different in between.
It’ll be interesting to see what happens in Lockdown 3.0 (the revenge of the Lockdowns) and Lockdown 4.0 (this time it’s serious).
Vivid dreams during lockdown? First I’ve heard of this particular phenomona… phenommen.. thing.
Can’t say I’ve noticed anything particularly vivid at this end.
I’m bumping into quite a few people on the socials who are experiencing this phenomonumum… phenommar… thing
