This is an unprioritised list of jobs, but split across the calendar year(s). Some of these jobs are trivial, some are not.

General jobs: Winter 2020/2021:

  • Lift out
  • Washdown
  • Antifoul
  • 2x new anodes
  • Replace the propeller
  • Fix the mast gate jam
  • Service the autopilot
  • Lifejackets for 4x humans
  • Lifejackets for 2x dogs
  • Drain the engine bilge
  • Service the LPG
  • Rope and line audit
  • Service the wenches I mean winches
  • Fit 2x fire extinguishers (5A 34B rated)
  • Check the engine battery
  • Check the service battery
  • Service the engine
  • Replace the engine fuel hose (with a continuous length)
  • Fit new protectors on the stern cockpit ladder
  • Investigate/fix damp on the aft berth mattress
  • Secure the (AIS?) antenna (find out what it is anyway)
  • Recalibrate the windex instrumentation

Rigging jobs:

  • Replace all split pins (esp. the babystay and the port lower shroud)
  • Fit reefing hooks
  • Fit a new flag halyard
  • Replace the missing mast fitting (wtf?)
  • Replace the backstay backing nuts and washers
  • Fit port-side clevis pin/rigging screw
  • Fix the small amount of excess play in the boom gooseneck fitting
  • Check the deck rigging cover plates and reseal with mastic

General jobs: Winter 2021/2022:

  • Identify and fix the source of fresh water leak into engine bay
  • Lift out
  • Washdown
  • Service the engine
  • Antifoul
  • Treat/remove scuff marks
  • 1x new anode
  • Remove sails and send for cleaning
  • Check sail stitching on return
  • Mast down
  • Fit new masthead VHF antenna (see AIS below)
  • Check the mast gate for potential jamming and treat with PPE if required
  • Rope and line audit
  • Check both batteries and service/replace if required
  • Remove the (AIS?) antenna from the pushpit
  • Service the windex at the masthead
  • Free or replace the halyard sheeves
  • Recalibrate the windex instrumentation
  • Fit a carbon monoxide fire/smoke alarm
  • Secure the water tanks
  • Sterilise the water tanks
  • Check water pump
  • Check water heater
  • Check internal (12v) lighting
  • Check navigation lights
  • Clean the galley taps and the shower and the head
  • Clean out the cabin forelocker
  • Audit, clean and service the anchor (s/be 15Kg Rocna/Spade)
  • Audit, clean and mark out the anchor chain (s/be 40m 8mm chain)
  • Clean all above decks superstructure
  • Clear the cockpit drains
  • Sand-down and oil the external woodwork
  • Sand-down/plane the forecabin door
  • Fix the central heating ducting beneath the starboard settee
  • Service the central heating
  • Find 2x blocks of teak for the pullpit rail
