Well, the Honda Superdream has gone to her new home. The buyer came out, I wheeled it out of the garage, he took a look at it, started it up, sat on it, took it for a spin around the block, came back, shook my hand and rode it off to Birmingham.
There were a lot of timewasters on Ebay, but this guy was straight on it from the start. I think he’s got a good bike for the money and he thinks he’s got a good little commuter.

That *might* have been a good one for my son.
Having now passed his motorcycle test (A2), he finds he cannot afford anything decent.
The bikes he is looking at are about £3k, but because of his age, the insurance cost is about the same.
Something with a lower horsepower might be his only option.
Anyway, looking forward to seeing its replacement. 🙂
If the purchaser had told me he was planning to ride it back to Birmingham I would have done some proper maintenance on it. But the bike is a tidy little runner, the engine sounds sweet, the brakes are good and it’s registered as a classic, so yeah, she would have been good for a newly-qualified owner.
