This evening the good lady wife her indoors went out on our motorbikes for a sedate trundle around the local countryside. And we filled up our respective tanks, trundled sedately around the local countryside a little more then came home.
With everything neatly put away I picked up her manual and started reading it (because RingTFM is one thing I can guarantee the good lady wife her indoors will never, ever do). I discovered the tank capacity (small) is outweighed by fuel economy (very good). I discovered the rear suspension is adjustable. And I discovered her bike has a USB charging port. Yep, there’s a female USB-A socket in a neat little waterproof sealed unit tucked away beneath the clutch lever.
I’m now on the horns of a dilemma as to whether I should tell her these things… or not. She’ll never RTFM so if I don’t tell her she’ll never know. Oh me, oh my, what’s to do.
She may never RTFM, but at some point she’ll find it and then you’ll be in trouble for not telling her about it.
Might as well come clean about it now.
I went for a rideout yesterday with a couple of mates, up to a radio rally just outside Cambridge. Excellent day out, but my God, the greenfly were out in force: my visor was plastered with ’em.
