I have a Fez! It came back from Marrakesh with me. I seem to remember I wore it all the way home because I couldn’t figure out how to pack it.
Anyway.
Mikey is deeply suspicious of this strange thing which appeared, last week, on my head. But he’s the only one who is.
Regardless of that. When I’m not wearing the Fez, Mikey is my shadow. I can’t even visit the bathroom without an audience of 5 spaniels, Mikey is always in the front row. If I sit down, Mikey’s right there, squeezing in beside me. If I go out into the garden, Mikey’s right there (almost) causing me to fall over him. My little spaniel shadow even accompanies me if I take rubbish out to the bin. Mikey goes everywhere with me…
Except when I’m wearing the Fez.
Oh sure, he’ll still stick close to me. But he doesn’t want to come and sit beside me when the Fez is being worn.
Mikey is obviously not a Dr Who fan.
Or Tommy Cooper.
Dogs can be strange, can’t they? I’d love to know what they’re thinking, sometimes.

Hmm. I am quite fond of Tennant, but Smith was good. I dunno, is there a ‘who was the best Dr Who survey going on somewhere on this planet right now? Probably.
Oh, everyone loves Tennant.
I’m fond of Tennant.
But I thought Smith brought a different sort of energy and quirkiness to the role.
