Blogathon 26/26: Weird

It’s been a weird kind of day. Disjointed, if you know what I mean? Whereas normally I’m very organised and there’s a logical flow to the day, today has had none of that about it. I’ve done about 3 hours of editing which wasn’t long enough, but other things called for my time, so I prioritised. I put a calendar of events on the Fosseway Writers website. I wrote a newsletter for my writing website subscribers (contains gratuitous spaniels, obv). I drafted a newsletter for the campaign website subscribers (I’ll finish that one tomorrow, it needs to be sent out on Saturday). I beefed up database security on a new internet property I’ve taken over. I set up a new CCTV camera (it’s currently sitting beside me, but it will soon be rehomed). And, of course, I’ve done 4 dogwalks and 2 schoolruns. I was supposed to go to Mozzers but that didn’t happen; it’ll have to be tomorrow. I was supposed to vacuum, but that didn’t happen either; that’s another job on the list for tomorrow. But also tomorrow I have to go to the local farm shop for supplies. And I have about another 4 hours of editing to cram in. And finish the campaign newsletter. And go to a campaign committee meeting. And 2 school runs and 4 dogwalks…

  1. Disjointed, but busy.
In my case: two dog walks, wrote a blogathon post, cleaned the car (which I should have done yesterday), didn’t pull any of the floor up in the dining (like I had promised I would) and – in the main – continued to fiddle and play with LoRa on 439MHz (although it’s just running over IP at the moment)… so, fairly busy but not particularly productive.

  2. Everything sounds good except for the floor in the dining. You need to keep avoiding that one! I don’t know enough about the Lora thing yet. It’s on my list of stuff to look up but it’s a long, long list.
