I’ve often said that Soph and I should write scripts together; we live in a sitcom.
When she came downstairs this morning and told me of her dream where a friend of hers had two children, one named ‘Cool’ and the other named ‘The Gang’ I literally wet myself, I was crying with laughter so much.
We’re now eating breakfast (yes I know it’s 10.09).
Breakfast for me is my second mug of tea and a huuuuuge bowl of cereal which is 50% Shreddies and 50% Crunchy Nut Cornflakes, skimmed milk and sugar.
Breakfast for Soph is a mug of tea, a bowl of Crunchy Nut Cornflakes. And the remains of last night’s pizza.
We are now slouched on the couch watching The Hoff: When Scott Came To Stay which I hope is as funny as it promises to be.
But oh boy, Scott Mills is so gay!
Isn’t this a sitcom? Aren’t we living an existence that’s a cross between Game On, Friends and something else?
Bottom? The Young Ones?
“The Young Ones?”
I have to ask. Have you got a video?
We can play/record video on our combi unit.
A video! How quaint.
Hmmm. Perhaps my reference was not spotted?
RICK: Ooooh! Have we got a video??
VYVYAN: Yes — we’ve — got — a — vid — e – o!!!
Ha! I missed this one. Quite contrary and civilized is thy sitcom. A bit like ‘My Family’ but less annoying.
The pair of you should absolutely write together. Your podcasts are always a laugh as well.
