Driving patterns

Because I’m anally fixated on, erm, analysis I have been conducting a random survey of drivers I have passed on my way to work over the last five mornings.

The findings are interesting (on the understanding that all people have interesting qualities):
23 out of 25 women who failed to pull in to the left hand lane when there was no vehicle inside them were… Blonde.

Of course, I have no way of checking whether any of these females were really blonde (no way of determining whether – as used to be said – their collars and cuffs matched. Indeed some of them may have had no cuffs at all, if you see what I mean?).

But it’s a start.

Here’s another finding:
28 out of 31 men who failed to pull in to the left hand lane when there was no vehicle inside them were driving… German cars.

I’m not sure what this survey result tells me. I need to think on it. But hey, more findings in due course.

🙂

  1. It tells me that you need to spend less time ogling people in other cars and more time watching the road

  2. Ginny: I feel gently chastised. 🙂

    Citronella: See above 🙂

Harry: I think I need to stop spending so much time on exactly the same bits of road each day. 🙂
