It was a very chatty evening yesterday.
It started with much chatting with Ginny. Our conversation ranged far and wide, covered many topics (some deeply serious), but beneath it all was an undercurrent of good humour. Even when she threatened to hit me, it was in a funny way. I think.
I had a simultaneous chat with Paula – a fellow Open University student (A103er). Paula juggles three children (not literally, obv) home-maker duties, Jeremy Kyle and substantial running around and is therefore to be admired muchly for her OU dedication.
I also had a chat with a former colleague I worked with in London on a prior contract. He wanted to promote the conversation from IM chat to a full-on videoconference to test his new capability, but as The Lovely S was sitting beside me completely naked, the words ‘full on’ would have taken on a whole new meaning. So I declined.
I love chat.
