Today I shall mostly be

Productive and scruffy.

In that order.

I am working at home (yes I know it’s now 18.06, and I’m blogging but I’m just having a five minute break before I put my nose back to the grindstone).

And I’m still in my bathrobe.

Max Barry, one of my favourite authors, says one of the best things about being a writer is that he can work in his boxer shorts.

I haven’t even made it in to mine.

Which, in my mind, makes me more productive.

I’ve used wasted less time getting dressed than Max would’ve.

But joking aside, productivity has been high, documentation has been produced, the internet has been unsurfed (apart from a quick chat session with Sooz), the television unwatched and lunch uneaten.

Yes indeed, so busy have I been that I haven’t even had anything to eat.

As soon as I’ve finished trying to break a piece of software in Liverpool (look, I’m supposed to be sounding it out – honest!) I’m going to put all the papers away and have a shower and shave.

Bathrobe days.

Also known as productivity days.

🙂
