Hot stuff

Las Vegas.

We’ve done so much in the last couple of weeks, seen so many different aspects of California, that it’s getting difficult to separate them all out and maintain a proper sense of perspective.

Especially difficult – when talking about Las Vegas in particular – to maintain a proper sense of perspective.

Trying to balance the over-hype of galactic proportions and the obvious lack of taste, with the openness and generosity of the people and the natural beauty of the surrounding countryside, is very difficult.

So instead, here’s a few (clickable for larger images) snapshots, to do it for me.

The New York skyline - in Las Vegas
The awesome view from inside the Grand Canyon
Our ride in to the Grand Canyon. And back out!
Boulder Dam - amazing place

  1. Did you win big at the tables? Can you lend me a fiver?
    Great pics. V jealous.

    Mya x

  2. Thanks Fabulous, we had a fantastic time in Vegas. Very close to the top experience was me appearing live on the same stage as Penn and Teller (who were awesome). 1,000 people and I kept my cool, didn’t dry up and didn’t burn any of my jokes.

Mya, would it disappoint you to learn that we didn’t gamble once? Which is how we managed to break even. I’ve got a fiver for you – always – you know that.

Clare The helicopter trip was awesome. We had a brilliant time onboard and I shot reams of video.
