Hi SG, Britblog is (or perhaps I should say was – or ‘might be was’) a directory of all British blogs. It was launched in 2004 and categorised and listed blogs by output type and geographic location. Though I’m wondering if Britblog has gone down the tubes… can it be long before Technorati follows?
hoverFrong, thanks. I might drop Mark a line but the gyre website looks dormant too – latest news – three years old?
Jonners, so many pubs, so little time…

Lovely expression 😉
Been in touch with Mark. In a nutshell he’s taken the service off line for the foreseeable future which may actually mean for ever.
