When is a twatish driver not a twat?

I don’t know either.

And it’s probably best not to ask Andrew Jacques, the owner/driver of Luxury Land Liners Ltd.

Probably best not to ask him because he either doesn’t know or doesn’t care that the speed limit for any vehicle towing a luggage trailer is 60mph.

Probably best not to ask him because he either doesn’t know or doesn’t care what the stopping distance of a vehicle towing a luggage trailer at 60mph is [Clue: it is significantly greater than the 2′ Mr Jacques allowed, when he tailgated me up the A34 today]

And also, probably best not to ask him because he doesn’t seem to care that the name and web address of his driving business is all over the vehicle that he’s misbehaving in.

Now I don’t want to ruin Andrew Jacques’ business.

I’m just firing a warning shot across his bows; I’ll take this post down once I’m sure he’s got the message.

Because this time next week I will have the video camera remounted, so that it faces rearwards, not forwards any more.

That’ll be fun, won’t it?

Andrew Jacques

    1. There’s got to be something about that road that attracts drivers of a certain… calibre.

  1. good thing you’re a brit. in the states this would lead to gunfire, or court action. get the recording first would have been wise, even in pommyland.

    1. In the states I could have reported him for dangerous driving (or possibly even drunk driving), as encouraged by all those signs on the side of the Interstates. And forward-facing cameras don’t capture dangerous tailgaiting, which is why I’m going to shift to rear-facing over the weekend.

  2. Forgive me! I lost the list of blogs that I used to read somewhere along the way and I am just now compiling my google reader again. Hello!
