The A420, the Oxford to Bristol (via Swindon) trunk road is closed this week – closed between Farringdon and Swindon.
It’s a scheduled road closure.
The A420 is busy.
I mean that on a scale of o to fuck-off, it’s fuck-off busy.
The numpties in power couldn’t have closed the road last week?
When it was half-term and there was a metric fuckton of traffic less than there is this week?

Did you see that Top Gear episode where Jeremy Clarkson proved to the council that their roadworks were grossly inefficient?
He took over some roadworks that were scheduled to take a week, and planned it so that they only took 10 hours and were undertaken overnight! Marvellous viewing!
No I didn’t see that. I shall have to watch Dave to ensure I don’t miss it!
It’s a focking joke and is going to cause absolute chaos. I got caught up in it this evening as for some reason I thought they were starting next week.
I guess I’ll have to cut through Highworth through the back roads, and hope that not many other people do.
