Well, it’s happened.
I have bought a caravan – we are a caravan family.
The decision to go down this road was entirely driven by spaniel.
I’m very uncomfortable with the idea of putting Robyn in kennels while we go away on holiday.
We discussed it as a family and everyone agreed, so the decision was either between finding dog-friendly accommodation (with the attendant costs), continuing to go camping with a growing spaniel (after the airbed incident in Cornwall, I’m not too keen on that!), or getting a caravan.
So here we are.
Proud owners of a caravan large enough to accommodate two grown-ups, two children, and a spaniel. Or two.
Worst. Games. Ever.
Already.
I hope the games live up to the expectation of the public. I expect the organisation behind the games to live up to the level of incompetence we have come to expect.
You’d think someone would have had the nouse to check what flag they were displaying, possibly it’s time to replace the YTS moron who googled ‘korea, flag’ and then stuck the result onto the big screen. God help Londoners trying to get to work in rush hour next Monday when it’s all really kicked in, it’s going to be like Armageddon only much less fun.
I hope someone, somewhere is taking this opportunity to validate every single flag, and every single national anthem.
