6. Long Kiss Goodnight
Far too often overlooked in any mainstream list of Christmas films (yeah, I’m looking at you the Guardian and Time Out), Long Kiss Goodnight has something that many others don’t.
Class.
And Geena Davis.
Yes, that’s two somethings.
It’s a funny ride of a film.
Don’t expect too much by way of intellectual stimulation; that’s not what Long Kiss Goodnight is about.
Just lap up the welcome relief from Bing crooning his way through White Christmas.
Again.
Right, I ain’t ever seen that, but now that I’ve just watched the trailer, it’s definitely on my list.
