Sailing jobs (some done)

Despite some pretty shitty road traffic in both directions of the round trip, I had a very productive day on the boat:

  • Sails off (and sent to the cleaner)
  • The forward deck locker was cleared out (2x 5l containers of petrol, disposed of)
  • The unexplained VHF antenna removed from the stern pulpit (after testing, obviously)
  • The electrics/electronics control panel was inspected and measured for replacement
  • The electrics/electronics control panel wiring was updated
  • Port and starboard water tanks and pipework inspected (sound)
  • Batteries measured and voltage-checked (both OK)
  • New ensign fitted to the ensign staff
  • Outboard motor teak mounting block was removed and brought home for treatment
No mainsail, no foresail
