Friends, Romans, Countrymen. Lend me your ears. No. Holdup. Eyes would be better. Yes, lend me your eyes.
We are staring down the barrel of that time of year (February) when I follow in the footsteps of the great and good (Young Masher) as he persistently perseveres in a pleasant, pseudo-pabulumesque process with the pacesetting that… Oh. Sorry. I have to give the dictionary back now.
Anyway. Where was I? Oh yes.
*picks up pen*
… when I follow in the footsteps of Young Masher (for it is he), as he struggles with his quest to write a blog post a day for the month. So too shall I. Struggle, that is.
To give myself a bit of added zest, I will donate £1 for every day that I hit the blogging target to the Trussell Trust (a receipt will be posted here at the end of the month). Every day I fail to hit the target, I will do something different like make a donation to Nigel Farage’s unfavourite charity.
So it’s a bit of fun. A laugh. Some light-hearted japery.
Yes. Yes it is.
You should feel good about coming along for the ride.
Romans? Romanes Eunt Domus!
Excellent use of pabulum… took some looking up, that did.
I like the charity twist… wish I’d thought of that.
Thanks for joining me once again on this pointless quest… I wonder if our French correspondent will be coming along for the ride?
The charity thing was a wild thought; I’ve upped my charitable contributions this year, so a little extra from this device seemed like a worthwhile idea. And yes, I wonder…
