Yesterday my car had its annuals – the MOT and a full service. I had a chat with the garage owner about something that’s been concerning me. Tyre pressure. My car tells me when it detects any tyre pressure anomalies and lately it’s been nagging me about the front nearside.
This tyre (it says, but in pictures) is 28psi and it should be 30psi like the other front tyre. Except the other was 30 when the journey started but that was 5 minutes ago and the actual pressure in the front offside tyre is now 32 because of expansion, and the actual pressure in the one I’m being nagged about is now 29 (because of expansion).
We don’t get the full story anymore, for some reason.
Mine goes in on Thursday. My wallet and I are slightly nervous.
