Its been a day. First there was the school run. Then there were 4 spaniels to be walked. Then there was some work on a website. Then there was a lot of cutting down trees with the chainsaw. Then there was another school run. Then 4 spaniels needed to be walked again. Then there was a fence panel that needed to be painted. Then there was some more work on that website. And now, at 20.12, I’ve just had a gloriously steaming hot shower and now I’m in bed (accompanied by the 4 spaniels).
I’m done in.
Tomorrow I’ve got half a ton of logs arriving, which need to be moved by wheelbarrow and then hand-stacked into the logstore.
Idle hands are the Devil’s workshop… apparently.
So, based on today’s antics alone, there’s bound to be a place for you in Heaven.
We were talking about religious afterlife yesterday evening. On the basis of that conversation I’m not going anywhere but down (if that exists)
