I am putting Good Mood up for sale and I’m doing so through no fault of the yacht in any way. The 6-hour round-trip robs sailing of almost all the joy which going out on her brings. And the fact I can only go out 3 hours either side of high water (if I’m day-sailing) makes the return trip journey even more joy-destroying. Add in the obvious fact that if high water is at a reasonable time (say 07.30), I have to be leaving the marina at 04.30. And that means I have to leave the house at 01.00. There’s just so much enjoyment lost and I’m at the stage where I’m beginning to appreciate the joys in my life more than the chores. Anyway, if you know someone who is keen to buy an extensively upgraded 32′ yacht, do let me know. I need to draft an advert and get it in the usual publications/websites.
We are landlocked here too, so I’ll pass.
Shame though… I know how much you enjoyed being out on the water.
Still, the ability to tie a clove hitch will hold you in good stead for years to come.
