Journalistic standards at the Daily Mail continue to plummet with this latest headline. How ironic, really, given that one of the Daily Mail’s continual battle cries is how nothing is being done to halt the constantly slipping standards of our school-leavers. I can’t help wondering how old the person who wrote this is.
Maybe they were approaching the bombs in a drugged haze and they looked blurry.
Aww, c’mon, it’s a simple mistake that any complete fucking idiot could have made.
Maybe public spending cuts mean that instead of the complicated bomb disposal kit they used to have, they now have a hair dryer with one of those big wide diffuser heads on and they just sit there for a couple of hours gently heating the bomb to render it safe. Or, perhaps the journalist is a halfwit. Could be either.
Words fail me. Just like they fail the Daily Wail.

My take on you is that you enjoy finding errors other people make so that you can feel superior. You also seem to have a lot of spare time on your hands for endless blogging, reading papers and such.
I could, uncharitably, say that my take on you is that you enjoy commenting on things you have little knowledge about (are you even aware of the Daily Mail’s crusade for higher English standards? And how would you even know how anyone you didn’t have intimate knowledge of spent their time). But I won’t.
