Sheep, motorbikes, cars and cameras

That title sounds like it should be an ITV2 reality show…

It’s Saturday evening and we’re rocking it out large.

And by ‘rocking it out large’ I mean we are in our customary position on the couch, watching a film.

The film?

Glad you asked.

Black  Sheep.

Here’s a trailer:

Did you enjoy it?

It’s very amusing.

Anyway.

I spent today mucking about on a Suzuki GSX750:

It was great fun but I’m knackered now.

Listeners to the podcast will know that I’m sitting my Driving Theory and Hazard Perception tests this week.

For a bet.

It’s serious stuff.

The kitty is up to £32.50 and when I win – by proving that I can pass the modern test without even prepping for it – the ILPH will get the money.

While we’re talking about transport-related things, I have repositioned the camera in the car.

I wanted to catch some of the criminally insane tailgating that I experience every day – just because I drive at the maximum speed limit.

However…

I tried the camera out in its new setting on Friday, on the trip home.

Unfortunately the camera is in very plain sight.

Which means that it’s highly visible to other road users.

As a result, everyone slowed down to 70mph.

*And* they kept a respectful distance.

I am, obv, very disappointed.

But I’ll keep trying.

  1. Bloody hell Bren, please tell me that the Black Sheep trailer was a spoof? It was really funny! Sheep just aren’t scary even when they are biting through doors.

So you are a biker? Snap! I used to have a GSXR 750 and it was wicked. Very smooth gears.

How did you enjoy America by the way? It looks like you had a whale of a time!

    1. The whole film is a spoof. And very funny in parts. Gory in others.

I used to have a Laverda Mirage; superbike performance, no brakes. I’m now lusting after a 1,400cc ZZR. In black.

Our US trip was fantastic. How was yours? Are you back to normal now?
