Blogathon 01/18

Today will never happen again.

It’s a moment in time that is passing in to history, never to be repeated.

Events have occurred today, somewhere on this planet, events so significant that historians will, in future years, remark that ‘On this day hundreds of years ago, this momentous event was triggered’.

Just as yesterday, 31st May 2018, was the 13th anniversary of East 17 singer Brian Harvey running himself over.

Anyway.

Today is also the first day of the *fanfare* ‘2018 (photo) Blogathon’.

It’s like the annual Blogathon, but with added photos!

I know, totes rad, eh?

The idea, as you may have read elsewhere, is to provide a little photographic insight into an everyday (some might say dull) existence on this planet.

Because I don’t exist on any other planet. To the best of my knowledge. Obv.

So here we go.

The campus on which I currently work has the River Trent on one side, and the Beeston Canal (which is fed by and, later, feeds into the River Trent) on the other.

The grounds are extensive and pleasantly green to walk through, if one gets sufficient time for that kind of activity (clue: not often!).

I’m not the only walker, though.

When I left the building last night, there were dozens of rabbits between the building and the bike park.

And someone else was out for a walk too:

    1. We’re like Morecambe and Wise. I do the straight lines and set you up for the funny ones. Erm.

      1. There was these 2 old geese sitting in deckchairs and 1 said to the other.”it’s nice out”………………………….

  1. Well, I’m late to the party! Now I have to play catch up. But not play. I have to seriously catch up. Perhaps I just better get on with it.
