Blogathon 02/18

Continuing the everyday look at everyday objects through the camera lens…

‘Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition’, as Monty Python said of, erm, the Spanish Inquisition.

Which was actually not correct because, in those heady 15th Century days, the Spanish Inquisition were obliged to give heretic suspects 30-days notice of their impending investigation.

So as far as that went, it was a case of expecting the unexpected.

Fast forward a bunch of years to the early 21st Century and…

If you had told me, just a handful of years ago, that I would be commuting to work five days a week, and doing all of my weekend running-about, on a lightning-quick, points-gathering, driving-licence losing, WSB-qualifying supersports motorbike, well, I’d says that *was* very unexpected.

And so it is, my wholly unexpected, ultimate-filtering mode of transport is…

ZX10R
ZX10R
ZX10R
ZX10R
Tractor ZX10R

It’s almost exactly the same distance round the Isle of Man TT circuit, as my daily commute to work. It takes me 90 mins on average.
The ZX10R did the TT in 16m 50s this year.

    1. Did you see the IoMTT circuit track record got broken this year? Average speed of 135mph? That’s some feat. *Average*???
