Blogathon 18/25: Bike

I took the Ninja out for a little bit of a trundle yesterday. The weather was bright, sunny, and there were hordes of brass monkeys roaming the lanes looking for their bits. I’m always excessively careful on country lanes – especially around here – because the surfaces are horrible and the potholes are staggeringly large. But blimey O’Reilly it was good to take her out. I’m planning on another little two-wheeled trip out today (just as soon as the logs have arrived and I’ve put them all away). The air temperature is far from motorbiking optimum, but it’s great to be out when the sun’s shining.

Unfortunately this area is flat as a pancake (compared to where I was born and bred), and I haven’t had a good continental run since I did my ‘around Spain on the Triumph Daytona’, and that was too many years ago. So maybe I should think about waiting for the weather to warm up and then going somewhere like…

  1. You’re a braver man than I, sir.
But hopefully, it won’t be too long before I can get out on the steed.
Although, if it’s anything like last year, where it rained continually from March to May, then maybe I won’t be so lucky.

That road looks a lot of fun!

    1. Two consecutive days, two consecutive rides. Chilly, for sure, but great fun. That road does indeed look like a bit of fun. Maybe we should…
