[cries a little bit]
Damn you Brenning – you just made me home-sick for the first time in eight months.
I’ve put a link to this video on my Facebook profile (with props to you, of course) – hope you don’t mind.
Excuse me now, I’m off to sniffle a little again…
[cries some more]
How is this possible? Homesick? Have you seen the state of the bloody roads? Just play it again and look at the bone-rattling vibrations that my poor car has to go through on a daily basis.
It’s ok – I read some BBC stories about the impending government cuts and I fell all better now. 😉
p.s. Damn you.
*feel – FEEL all better now. Bleugh.
B,
Very pretty drive. I love road trips. Yours makes me nostalgic about the rural areas in the central plains where I grew up. Except for the driving on the wrong side of the road and the more “vintage” homes, it could be rural Illinois or northern Nebraska, where I was afoot in search of the wiley pheasant.
I wish we had a camera on the dash for our drive up Monte Cassino last weekend.
Ian,
You need to get out of Omaha and take some back roads. Find an old road and drive on the wrong side. :o)
Or take a little vacation time and drive the Natchez Trace.
Bulldog, I already get grassed up if I accidentally run a red light (once!! and only just!!) – can you imagine the panic-stricken screams if I tried a little lefty driving, even on a deserted stretch around here!
Funny thing is, it looked WEIRD to see him driving on the left – strange how quickly you can get used to a new way of doing things (although I still feel naughty for turning right on red).
Bren, just had a good listen to various Norwegian Recycling.
He’s a bit good, thanks for the nod.
